Job description:
The Theoretical Physics Group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of South Carolina invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position starting in the fall of 2015. An earlier starting date can be considered for qualified applicants. Research areas of particular interest include fundamental symmetries in few-nucleon systems, neutron physics, weak interactions, and effective field theories.
 
Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear or particle physics by the beginning of the employment period. Research experience in one of the mentioned fields is a plus.  Applicants are requested to submit a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, and a statement of research interests to Prof. M. Schindler (mschindl@mailbox.sc.edu), Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC 29208.  Three letters of reference should also be sent to the same address.
