Job description:
The Theoretical Nuclear Physics Group at the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in Theoretical Nuclear Astrophysics or Low-Energy Nuclear Theory to begin either in the fall of 2015 or the spring of 2016. The ideal candidate will have experience in either (i) the nuclear physics aspects of neutron stars, supernovae, and neutron star mergers, (ii) r-process nucleosynthesis, or (iii) the structure of heavy and/or unstable nuclei.
