The ICTP South American Institute for Fundamental Research in Sao Paulo invites applications for two FAPESP postdoctoral positions in theoretical physics to begin in 2015.

The ICTP South American Institute for Fundamental Research was recently created in a collaboration of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the State University of Sao Paulo (UNESP), and is located at the Instituto de Fisica Terica (IFT-UNESP) campus in Sao Paulo. The institute has exchange agreements with CERN, Perimeter, Nordita, Fermilab, IFT-Madrid, CEA-Saclay and the ICTP in Trieste, and has a well funded visitor program with frequent seminars, schools and workshops. A large number of postdocs and five permanent research professors will be hired in the near future.

The FAPESP postdoctoral fellowships are tax-free with an annual salary of 71,000 Brazilian reais, and pay moving costs as well as 10,600 Brazilian reais/year for travel and research expenses. The online application form and more information is on the webpage http://www.ictp-saifr.org
